What do we believe here at Direct Auto Insurance? We believe in honoring the vision of our founder, William Adair. When Direct Auto Insurance Company, the first insurance company in the Direct General Group, was founded, Mr. Adair envisioned a premier, non-standard automobile insurance company that served customers better than any other insurer. We’ve expanded greatly since Adair founded Direct in 1991, but our beliefs remain true to his original vision.
