If your current health leaves you with high out-of-pocket costs, you can choose from options up to $10,000 per accident to help cover costs for your accident related injuries once you have met a $250 deductible per accident.
- Are the premiums affordable?
We’re all about saving money at Direct, so we're pleased to let you know, that yes, this coverage is affordable! You can get this coverage for less than a dollar a day3. For example, a $5,000 benefit can be available for around $28 a month3.
- Do you pay coverage for accidental death and dismemberment4?
Yes. The accidental death and dismemberment benefit would pay directly to you or your beneficiary depending on the benefit you selected. You could use these benefits for a wide variety of out-of-pocket expenses resulting from an accident.
- Does Accident Medical Expense Insurance cover cancer, heart or stroke diagnosis?
Our Accident Medical Expense Insurance includes an optional Cancer and Heart-Stroke Rider4 that could pay different benefits directly to you in the event of a first-ever diagnosis of cancer and first-ever heart attack or stroke. It pays 100% of the selected benefit for life-threatening cancer, heart attack resulting from coronary artery disease, cardiac arrhythmia, and stroke resulting from cerebrovascular disease.
