Mobile App Frequently Asked Questions
Gone are the days of paper-only insurance ID cards. With the app, your digital ID card is always on hand from the home screen or the Policies tab. You can also save it to your phone, making it accessible without logging in.
Whether you have the roadside program included in your policy or not, help is just a phone call away. From the home screen, tap the roadside assistance icon to connect with a roadside rep. They will also inform you of any out-of-pocket costs for your request.
If your policy is canceled and you are still within our reinstatement period, all you must do to restart your coverage is confirm there has not been a loss (statement of no loss) and make the required payment. If your policy is outside our reinstatement period, select “start a new policy” in the app to get a new quote fast using our auto-fill feature and validate your information.
You can pay your bill with a credit card, debit card, or electronic check and securely store up to two payment methods in the app for faster payments. You can also find a nearby Direct Auto location to pay in-store and make a cash payment. For questions or to pay by phone call 1-877-GO-DIRECT.
For a complete summary of your coverages and other policy information, select the Policies tab at the bottom of the app. From there, you can view your coverage details, as well as your policy number, ID card, vehicles insured, driver information, discounts, and policy summary documents.
You can access the claims center from the app's home screen or the Claims tab. You have the option to file a claim online directly from the app or to call our claims department. Claims representatives are available 24/7 for new claims.
